Guido Pappadà , Visual effect Supervisor, joins the Interlinea Team

Interlinea welcomes Guido Pappadà in its team.

He is a pioneer of the visual effects in Italy.

Founder of the Dyte-Digital Filmworks Company, he worked in many movies as a post-production Supervisor . Among the most important ones : The legend of 1900  by Giuseppe Tornatore , Jesus by Roger Young , Malena  by Giuseppe Tornatore , Resurrection by Fratelli Taviani, Vajont by Renzo Martinelli.

He also supervised the digital restoration of The Kid by Charles Chaplin for which he has received a mention at the LA Academy Awards for the digital reconstruction of the film’s negative.

As a visual effects supervisor, Guido has produced more than 40 Films, such as : Chiedimi se sono felice  by Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo , Luisa Sanfelice  by Fratelli Taviani , Il resto di niente by Antonietta de Lillo,  Mater Natura by Massimo Andrei, Fuoco su di me by Lamberto Lambertini for which he received the Best Visual Effects nomination at David of Donatello.

He also performed visual effects for The Family Friend by the Oscar awarded Paolo Sorrentino selected at the Cannes Film Festival.
He received afterwards the second nomination for Fascisti su Marte by Corrado Guzzanti.

In 2010 he directed his first feature film: Nauta.
The film was selected and awarded at many international Festivals such as Byron Bay Film Festival (short list Best Dramatic feature), Mexican International Film Festival (Bronze Palm Award), Maremetraggio Festival (Barcolana Award), SIFF Salento International Film Festival (special mention), Land of Siena (special mention)

In 2012 he supervised the color correction of Enzo Avitable Music Life by the Oscar nominee American Director Jonathan Demme.

He also directed A WIDE GAZE, a documentary on the photo-reporter Francesco Cito. The film was selected at the WARSAW FILM FESTIVAL and then it was broadcasted by the Swiss RSI television and SKY ARTE.
