Our story

Interlinea Group was founded in 1971 and is currently led by Maurizio Antonini. With a multidisciplinary approach, the company operates across artistic, cultural, and business sectors—developing projects in communication, art exhibitions, consultancy, and education.

Building on its longstanding expertise, Interlinea Films focuses on film production and comprehensive production services for the audiovisual industry. We offer professional management and coordination across various formats, including photography, television commercials, documentaries, short films, feature films and TV series.

Our team also brings extensive experience in corporate communication and brand strategy, providing services in graphic design, visual communication, event planning, and below-the-line marketing.

Since 2002, Interlinea has dedicated a branch of its operations to the coordination of international education initiatives in partnership with universities, companies, and professionals. This includes overseas study programs for colleges and universities, high-level cultural tours, and the creation and promotion of events such as exhibitions, performances, and seminars. In 2008, in collaboration with Auburn University, Interlinea was instrumental in establishing a permanent overseas campus at the historic Chigi Palace in Ariccia. These programs center on Western culture, Italian design, fashion, and art, with activities taking place across the country- particularly in Rome, Milan, and Florence, iconic cities that embody the essence of Italian cultural heritage.

Today, Interlinea Films benefits from a dynamic international network and maintains active business relations with Indian partners through its initiative Spaghetti Films. Our work is driven by the passion for developing meaningful, cross-cultural co-productions that bring diverse voices and stories to the screen.

Among our most recent acclaimed projects is Casi El Paraíso, which received recognition at several prestigious festivals, including the Bari International Film & TV Festival, the European Film Festival, the Santander Film Festival, Hola México Film Festival, and the Tucson Film Festival. The film was also honored with the “Best Opera Prima” award at the Canacine Awards.

With a particular enthusiasm for genre cinema, Interlinea Films also produced the feature Controra – House of Shadows, directed by Rossella De Venuto. An Irish-Italian co-production, the film was selected by top genre festivals such as the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF), BIFAN (Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival), and again at the Bari International Film & TV Festival. It was awarded “Best Independent Film” at the Ortigia Film Festival and “Best Film” at the Italian Horror Fest.
